Direct orders during a launch come from the first printing. Once a first printing sells through, it is gone. Later printings are noted on the copyright page, and readers who collect know the difference. Order direct during launch and your copy is part of the edition that only happens once.

2. The Reader's Companion

Series titles include a digital Reader's Companion delivered to your inbox after purchase. For The Mother I Did Not Know, the Companion includes the character family tree, a Santa Fe and Abiquiú map, author notes on the case-files form used in the book, and the first chapter of Book Two as a preview.
